About the Event
About the Music:Â
Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) is regarded as one of the greatest composers in the history of Western music. His suites for unaccompanied cello are considered some of his greatest musical compositions. They have been performed and recorded by many famous cellists, including Pablo Casals and Yo Yo Ma.

About the Cellist:Â
Whether performing traditional pieces from the cello repertoire or his own new works, Clovice Lewis strives to foster connections that break down barriers and reinforce our joint humanity. He is also an inventor, technologist, serial entrepreneur, pilot, and Unitarian Universalist minister. Mr. Lewis is a member of the Lake County Symphony Orchestra and the Ukiah Symphony Orchestra. Â
