Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P) Access Notice
Shade Canyon School is proud to offer our Bridge Program, funded through California's Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P). This program provides our students with a safe, enriching, and joyful extended-day environment that aligns with our holistic, hands-on, and nature-based school culture.
Program Offerings & Hours

Regular School Days: The Bridge Program operates an early morning program from 7:30 AM until 8:20 AM and an after school program immediately following dismissal until 4:30 PM, ensuring that students have access to a combined total of 9 hours of instructional and enrichment programming per day.

Non-School Days (Intersessions): Shade Canyon provides a minimum of 30 days of extended-day programming during designated school breaks and summer intersessions. On these days, the program operates for a full 9 hours daily, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

The Bridge Program supports our students' development through:

Healthy, organic snacks and outdoor nature exploration.

Holistic, art-infused activities, storytelling, and practical crafts.

Dedicated academic support and quiet time.
Eligibility & Fees
The program is completely tuition-free for all students.
