Dream Garden Building

A note from Miss Angie, Shade Canyon's garden teacher: 

Shade Canyon's first year school garden plan is attached, but it will take many hands to create in a day. If you would like to be part of the Garden Committee, please email me at angie@shadecanyon.org. Below is a list of materials we are going to need. You do not need to be part of the committee to donate, all help is appreciated!!

1. (64) Cubic Feet of Organic Potting Soil
2. (4) Cubic Feet Organic Manure/Compost
3. (2) Bags of chunky Pearlite
4. 77 Feet of 72 inch high non climb fencing
5. (16) 6 foot T Posts
6. (5) 4x4x8 Redwood posts
7. 50 foot garden hose
8. watering wand
9. garden timer
10. A potting bench/table (can be used or purchased)
11. Gift Certificate to a local nursery for our starts & seeds (Star Gardens in Middletown gives 20% off to school gardens)
12. A volunteer who would like to build a simple Gate/Entry It is a 38 inch opening (ADA)
13. A volunteer who would skill saw cut our barrels in half
